India’s Chemical Industry
Indias chemical industry is an integral part of the Indian economy. It is indeed the oldest and fastest growing industry which has touched every sector of consumer durables. In terms of volume, drugs and pharmaceutical sector of Indian chemical industry holds the fouth place in the world whereas the plastic and petrochemical sector is the fastest growing sector among all these.

Chemical industries do not signify only the manufacturing companies but also a wide variety of organizations are involved in the distribution chain between chemical producing companies and the industries using ‘chemical substances’.
